Video: Summer 2014 Sailing

Matt created this great video synopsis of our trip which includes all the highlights: swimming with the stingrays, shots from the top of the mast, the 500lb mama turtle ashore, and so much more!  Enjoy

Back to Reality

Although I’m convinced I could quit my job and become a professional oil painter–Matt convinced me to come back to the U.S. My job yesterday was to oil all of the teak on the boat with 1 quart of oil. Keep in mind, I sucked at painting our bathroom but I excelled at painting my old dining room red. So I painted the both sugar scoops, the table, the two cockpit hatches, the side Oh Sh*t rails, and the front and stern rails. But just not have enough for the eyebrow rail or the princess bow seats. But those bow seats need to be replaced (hopefully in Grenada while we are gone)

Had a lovely dinner at La Sagesse of King fish and Lemon Caper chicken and then the flaming banana. Has an early morning, 7am cab rise to the airport which was not so early as we were all up at dawn 515am (habit)
